ABOUT KIDS CORNER STUDIO
Designing Child-Centered Commercial Spaces With Purpose
Kids Corner Studio is a commercial interior design studio specializing in playful, functional, and thoughtful spaces for children, families, staff, and business owners. We design play cafés, indoor playgrounds, daycares, preschools, pediatric spaces, sensory environments, and virtual design packages for clients in Los Angeles and beyond.
Our work connects imagination with practical decisions: layout, supervision, materials, operations, comfort, durability, and the daily experience of the people who use the space.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Sara Jandaghi Jafari
Founder and CEO of Kids Corner Studio
Sara Jandaghi Jafari founded Kids Corner Studio with a clear mission: to create children’s spaces that feel imaginative, inclusive, functional, and deeply considered. As a designer, mother of two, LEED AP BD+C professional, and General Contractor license holder, Sara brings both creative sensitivity and practical understanding to commercial child-centered interiors.
With a Master’s degree in Architecture from UMass Amherst and experience designing pediatric dental centers, daycares, indoor play areas, and inclusive classrooms across the United States, Sara understands that children’s spaces must do more than look beautiful. They must support learning, play, healing, supervision, operations, maintenance, and the emotional experience of families.
Her approach is playful but never chaotic. Every decision is connected to purpose: how children move, what parents can see, how staff works, how materials perform, and how a business creates a memorable environment.
“Children deserve spaces that help them feel welcome, curious, safe, and inspired, and business owners deserve spaces that work beautifully every day.”
Experience That Connects Design, Construction, and Child-Centered Thinking
Sara’s background combines architecture, interior design, sustainability, construction awareness, and hands-on experience with children’s environments. This gives Kids Corner Studio a practical perspective on both the creative and technical sides of commercial interiors.

Where Imagination Meets Purpose…
At Kids Corner Studio, we believe child-centered design should balance wonder with real-world function. A successful commercial children’s space must support the child’s experience, the parent’s trust, the staff’s workflow, and the owner’s business goals.
That is why our process considers both the emotional and operational sides of design: playful moments, clear circulation, parent sightlines, durable materials, flexible layouts, accessibility, and a strong visual identity.
A PERSONAL NOTE

Created With Children in Mind
As a mother and designer, Sara understands how deeply environments shape the way children feel, explore, learn, and connect. Kids Corner Studio was created to bring that sensitivity into commercial spaces where design decisions affect families, staff, and businesses every day.
The goal is always the same: to create spaces where children feel they belong and where owners feel confident in the environment they are building.
MEET THE DESIGNER
Elmira Ebadi
Interior Architectural Designer
Elmira Ebadi is an Interior Architectural Designer at Kids Corner Studio, helping business owners turn early ideas into thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling child-centered environments.
She contributes to the planning and development of play cafés, indoor playgrounds, daycare and preschool facilities, pediatric spaces, and sensory environments. Her work supports clients through key design decisions, including space planning, circulation, activity zoning, material selection, design development, BIM modeling, documentation, and 3D visualization.
With a Master of Architecture, a Master of Interior Architecture, and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, Elmira brings both creative and technical thinking to every project. Her background in architectural research and environmental performance strengthens her ability to evaluate how a space will function for children, caregivers, staff, and business owners, not only how it will look.
She understands that a successful children’s business needs more than an attractive interior. The space must support safe movement, clear sightlines, efficient staff workflows, durable materials, engaging experiences, and a layout that helps the business operate smoothly as it grows.
“A strong child-centered space should create excitement for children, confidence for parents, and better daily operations for the business behind it.”

Her role at Kids Corner Studio includes developing and communicating design solutions that help clients better understand their space before construction begins, reducing uncertainty and supporting more informed decisions throughout the project.

MEET THE CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER
Gerdoo
Chief Security Officer & Director of First Impressions
Gerdoo is Kids Corner Studio’s smallest team member and, according to Gerdoo, its most important. As Chief Security Officer, he monitors every sound, movement, delivery, and dangerously unattended snack with unwavering focus.
A Maltipoo with a sharp eye for detail and very strong opinions, Gerdoo specializes in remote surveillance, perimeter checks, visitor evaluation, and deciding when meetings have continued far beyond the legally acceptable time without a play break.
Although he weighs less than three pounds, Gerdoo approaches every assignment with full executive authority. He respects quiet working hours, understands the morning schedule, and remains ready to investigate anything suspicious, especially food packaging, floor-level objects, or the coffee grinder announcing that management is officially awake.
“Good security begins with observation, consistency, and making sure breakfast is served exactly at 5:30 AM.”
Designing With Care, Strategy, and Heart
We believe children notice more than adults often realize. They respond to scale, light, texture, color, sound, movement, comfort, and the feeling of being welcomed. At the same time, owners and operators need spaces that are durable, efficient, easy to understand, and aligned with business goals.
Kids Corner Studio brings these perspectives together. We design for the child’s imagination, the parent’s confidence, the staff’s workflow, and the long-term success of the space.
